January 26, 2024 – SEGA is pleased to announce that one of Ringo Shiina’s songs appears in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio got into contact after feeling moved by the song’s exploration of what it means for us to live, sensing a connection to the themes of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The proposal then went through with the kind permission of Shiina-san.
Enjoy the compelling story of Kasuga Ichiban rising from rock bottom and Kazuma Kiryu who takes on the final battle of his life along with the unique and idiosyncratic melody and lyrics from Ringo Shiina’s song, adding vibrancy and depth to the world of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.

Ringo Shiina’s Profile
Born November 25, 1978 in the city of Fukuoka. Debuted as a musician in 1998 with the single Koufukuron. Also the founder of Japanese band Tokyo Jihen.
In addition to performing herself, she also supplies music for other singers, films, plays, television, and more. Received newcomer’s award for fine arts from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2009.
Served as a production consultant for the flag handover ceremony at the 2016 Rio Olympics and Paralympics, achieving international recognition for her work.
In 2019, she released the original album Sandokushi as well as her first greatest hits album Apple of Universal Gravity.
Released her first remix album, Hyakuyaku no Chou, in 2023.
Went on tour across Japan between February and May 2023, performing 22 shows in 11 cities.
Released single Watashi wa Neko no Me on May 24, 2023.
