December 19, 2023 – SEGA is thrilled to share new details about Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, which is releasing January 26, 2024 on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Steam. Learn more about some of the new substories, building up Kasuga’s personality, and the perks from strengthening your bonds with your friends.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a dramatic RPG that depicts the series’ most compelling tale to date. Two beloved characters take the spotlight as dual protagonists in this adventure—Ichiban Kasuga, a man who rises from rock bottom once again, and Kazuma Kiryu, who faces one final battle as he enters his twilight years.
Experience one-of-a-kind combat with dynamic, fast-paced RPG battles where the battlefield becomes your weapon, and anything goes. With a plethora of new jobs, more in-depth customization, and plenty of ways to develop your characters. Battles have evolved into New Live Command RPG Battles with even more strategic elements. You can create the strongest party by adding new jobs, extensive customization, and training elements.

Kasuga encounters a girl who swears up and down that her beloved pet chicken has been taken away by a UFO. Everyone she’s told, including the police, has brushed it off as her eyes playing tricks on her, but Kasuga sees her desperation and agrees to assist her in a UFO search. As he explores a certain park rumored to be a hotspot for UFO sightings, he witnesses a cow floating up toward a mysterious light…

Kasuga takes a nap on a Hawaiian beach. But when he wakes, his head feels heavy. He hurries over to a shop window to examine himself, only to find that a baby bird has taken up residence atop his head.
PERSONALITY – Boost Your Personality Stats and Enjoy Hawaii to Your Heart’s Content!
Elevating Kasuga’s personality is a crucial element to progressing the story. Certain skills within Kasuga’s Hero job will be boosted by his personality stats.

Six character traits that make up Kasuga’s stats: Passion, Confidence, Charisma, Kindness, Intellect, and Style.
Enhance Kasuga’s personality traits to improve his stats and abilities, gain new jobs, interact with more people, and unlock new events.
・Perks of Improving Your Personality
Building up Kasuga’s personality will let you participate in some of the activities offered by AloHappy Tours.
Taking part in activities can give Kasuga and his crew new insights and open up new jobs for them. You can also gain access to new places and unlock the option to invite people as guests to your resort on Dondoko Island.
・Polishing Kasuga’s Personality
Your personality will improve by talking to people and interacting with them. You can also improve your personality by completing substories, playing minigames, and through other actions. As you enjoy the beautiful sights of Hawaii, actively seek out adventure and polish your personality!
BOND LEVEL – Deepen Your Bonds with Friends and Tackle Battles Together!
A friend’s bond level represents how close they are with Kasuga or Kiryu. Unlock more jobs and abilities by reaching certain bond levels!
As your bond with your companions improves, you’ll unlock Tag Team Skills that can be used in battle. They can also learn combo attacks that can be performed while you are in their vicinity.
If you move next to one of your teammates when selecting a command, they’ll execute a combo attack. These attacks don’t cost any MP, so try using them to rack up extra damage.
By building deeper bonds with your teammates, Kiryu will be able to extend the duration of his Dragon’s Resurgence. This mode allows him to lay the beatdown on enemies using button inputs.
Create powerful bonds with your companions to breeze through combat!
Nurture your bonds by spending time together chatting at restaurants in Table Talk, sharing laughter as you walk the streets in Party Chat, or playing mini-games like darts and karaoke.
There are also lots of other ways to deepen your bonds, like giving friends gifts when you see them in town, so try everything you can to grow closer!
・Table Talk and Party Chat
Ordering certain menu item combinations at a restaurant can start a Table Talk, which will deepen your bonds with your teammates.
You can view hints when ordering, so try and find the right combination to initiate a Table Talk.
As you walk around town, you may be able to trigger Party Chats with your friends.
Talk about a range of topics, including discussions about the area or fond recollections of the past. Taking the time to engage in banter can boost your bond with your teammates. In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, you’ll sometimes have the option to respond in different ways. Your companions’ reaction will vary based on your choice – sometimes you may even get a greater boost to your bond!

During Walk & Talk events, you can chat with one of your friends and learn anything from their favorite foods to their unexpected hobbies.
Your Bond Bingo will keep a record of everything you learn from Walk & Talks. Complete any vertical, horizontal, or diagonal row to strengthen your bond considerably.
The deeper your bond, the more you’ll see a new side to your friends and hear all about their woes in a special story called a Drink Link.
During Drink Link, your teammates will confide in either Kasuga or Kiryu. By listening to their troubles and finding a solution, your companions will gain huge buffs.
