Mebius Dust is an original anime series based on the original concept of the same name by Hajime Shinagawa, which won the Grand Prize in the “Kids’ Game Anime” category of “Project ANIMA”—an open call initiative, representative of the 2020s, aimed at creating original anime works. The series depicts the lives of high school students living in a working-class neighborhood. Set in a world ten years after a meteorite strike, the series depicts battles between boys and girls who have acquired special abilities called “Rams” due to the influence of a mysterious particle called “Mebius Dust” emitted by a giant crystal.
This is the first anime series for which DÉ DÉ MOUSE has composed the entire soundtrack on his own. DÉ DÉ MOUSE’s signature sound—a blend of nostalgic, dreamlike electronic sounds and emotional melodies—vividly brings the world of Mebius Dust to life and leaves an even deeper impression on the story. This soundtrack allows you to fully immerse yourself in the musical world crafted by DÉ DÉ MOUSE through the diverse collection of tracks that enhance the series. A coming-of-age drama set in “Shinkatsushika,” featuring youngsters who carry deep emotional and physical scars.
I absolutely love the premise that our world could possibly turn out like the one in the story tomorrow, and I’m truly delighted to have been able to bring the soundtrack for Mebius Dust to life with my melodies!
After carefully coordinating the musical direction with the director, I composed 55 tracks in just one month, fueled by an energy reminiscent of that initial creative impulse.
In each song, I’ve translated the characters’ inner thoughts into melodies in my own way.
I hope you can feel the passion through the music!

The solo project by lyricist, songwriter, producer, keyboardist, and DJ—Daisuke Endo.
He is a composer, arranger, producer, keyboardist, and DJ. He is also active in a wide range of fields, including programming his own songs, mixing and mastering, and creating visuals, while also producing, composing and remixing tracks for other artists.
He made his debut in 2007 with his first album, tide of stars. Armed with catchy and mysterious “melody cut-up” tracks—created by reconstructing sampled vocals—he captured the attention of many listeners, and the album became an explosive hit despite receiving no promotion. The melody cut-up technique established on tide of stars, combined with dazzling synthesizer sounds and unique chord progressions, spawned numerous followers both in Japan and abroad, contributing to the scene in a way that could only be called an invention.
He has also been actively pursuing live performances as a trackmaker and producer from an early stage. Since 2008, accompanied by his band, he has performed annually at numerous festivals and events, including Fuji Rock and taicoclub. His free-spirited live performances, which transcend the boundaries of both the band and club scenes, continue to captivate audiences, and he maintains a wide range of activities, including planetarium concerts and Bon Odori events.
He also performs regularly overseas and has successfully toured the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Canada, and the United States.
The Japanese-style VAPER WAVE track sunset girls (2008), set against the backdrop of dusk after a typhoon; the iconic album A journey to freedom (2010), which generated buzz by featuring FFT designer Akihiko Yoshida; the colorful PCM electronica track sky was dark (2012), themed around Tama New Town; farwell holiday! (2015), a cinematic jazz/orchestral piece set in an amusement park and created entirely through programming; youth 99 (2015), which anticipated the 90s breaks sound; and summer twilight (2016), inspired by the rhythms of Bon Odori—he continues to release works with a playful spirit, brimming with foresight, a distinctiveness that makes them instantly recognizable as DÉ DÉ MOUSE.
