Top 24 Players Will Earn an Invitation to the Finals in New York City
June 30, 2026 – SEGA is thrilled to announce that Round 6 of the Legend Competition, the qualifier for the first-ever Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds World Championship 2026, is now underway. The event will culminate in an epic finale, where the world’s top 24 players will compete to determine the world’s fastest racer.
Those who place in the top 24 of the World Rankings will earn an invitation to the World Championship Finals in New York City this October. In addition, players can earn an exclusive decal simply by taking part in a single race during the event, along with a variety of rewards based on the Grade they reach.
The qualifier runs until July 20 at 7:59 AM (UTC+8). Compete against players from around the world and earn your ticket to New York City!
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds World Championship 2026\
*Gadgets obtained as festival rewards from June 2026 onward (e.g. Spin Dash Kit) cannot be used in the World Championship Qualifiers or the World Championship Finals.
*Only players who have registered via the official World Championship website will be eligible to receive an invitation to the Finals. Check the website for the tournament rules, how to register, and other guidelines.
*Your starting Grade for this event will be determined by the Grade you held at the end of Round 5. Likewise, your final Grade in Round 6 will determine your starting Grade for Round 7.
*Tournament dates are subject to change.
*The qualifier (Legend Competition Round 6) is open to all players, regardless of whether they are Legend Rank or not.

Ranking rewards will be given to players based on their final result once the competition ends.

Titles are awarded upon reaching each Grade.
You will receive the Donpa Ticket reward of your highest achieved Grade after the round ends.
