July 1, 2026 — SEGA is excited to announce a special tournament as part of the Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series 2026 (PGRS 2026) — the official international tournament circuit for the competitive action puzzle game Puyo Puyo, a title certified under the Japan eSports Pro License program.
PGRS 2026 brings together official SEGA events and community tournaments from around the world, fueling the growth of the global competitive scene.
This special event is designed to celebrate the passion of the overseas Puyo Puyo community and give even more players the chance to jump into the action. In a unique format, popular Thai VTubers from Lumina Project and Pixela Project, who have supported PGRS through past livestreams will team up directly with fans to compete. Each team will consist of one VTuber and three fans, battling it out in a four player team tournament to claim the championship title.
The tournament will be streamed live on each participating VTuber’s channel. Don’t miss the excitement — tune in and cheer on your favorite team!
