Story

“Have you heard of the Midnight Channel?”

No sooner had whispers of the Midnight Channel begun to spread than the fog enshrouding Inaba lifted, revealing a body suspended upside down.

While the protagonist and his classmates attempt to piece together the link between these mysteries, they discover a world within the TV full of Shadows.

In their pursuit of the truth, they must face their suppressed insecurities, awaken the power of Personas, and live out an unforgettable year.

Protagonist (VA:Daisuke Namikawa)

A second-year high school student who is sent to his uncle’s place in the countryside. Coming face-to-face with a serial murder case, he awakens the power of Persona. His initial Persona is Izanagi.

Yosuke Hanamura (VA: Showtaro Morikubo)

The protagonist’s outspoken and supportive classmate. A self-proclaimed advisor, he regularly makes deductions and ensures everyone’s on the same page. His Persona is Jiraiya.

Chie Satonaka (VA: Yui Horie)

An energetic and sociable girl who sits next to the protagonist in class. As an avid kung fu movie- and meat-lover, she won’t hesitate to act upon her strong sense of justice. Her Persona is Tomoe.

Yukiko Amagi (VA: Ami Koshimizu)

The protagonist’s classmate and daughter of the Amagi Inn owners. Possesses a strong sense of responsibility. A bit of an airhead at times, her best friend Chie often bails her out of trouble. Her Persona is Konohana Sakuya.

Marie (VA: Kana Hanazawa)

A mysterious girl you encounter in Inaba. Though seemingly unfriendly, she’s outgoing and brimming with curiosity. She also has a hobby she’d prefer to keep secret.

Inaba

The quiet town in rural Japan where the mystery unfolds. It has no sightseeing spots or entertainment venues.

A Serial Kidnapping and Murder Case

An ongoing incident plaguing the peaceful town of Inaba. Those who go missing turn up dead.

The Midnight Channel

A mysterious rumor popular among the youth of Inaba. It’s said that your soulmate will appear if you look into a TV that’s switched off at midnight while it’s raining.

The TV World

A sprawling realm hidden behind TV screens. From a replica of Inaba‘s shopping district to an eerie castle, each of its locales is covered in a thick layer of fog.

Shadows

The monsters residing in the TV world. The incarnation of hidden thoughts given physical form, these dangerous entities attack any human who dares wander into their realm.

Personas

Shadows manifest when part of oneself is ignored or denied.

As the protagonist and his companions find the strength to confront their own Shadows, these beings transform into Personas, granting the power to overcome the TV world.
