October 29, 2026 – SEGA is excited to provide the latest news on Puyo Puyo Champions, the competitive action puzzle game and up-and-coming e-sports title.
Puyo Puyo Champions is a thrilling chain-reaction puzzle game that’s easy to learn, tough to master. Featuring English voices and subtitles, players around the world can battle it out online for a top spot in the rankings. Includes two popular rulesets: Puyo Puyo 2 and Puyo Puyo Fever.
The game is currently available for just $9.99USD on Steam, PlayStation®4, and Nintendo Switch™.
Puyo Puyo Global Ranking Series 2026, a tournament aimed at expanding the competitive Puyo Puyo population overseas, is currently underway. During the season, participants can earn Global Points based on their performance in eligible tournaments. The top-ranked players will receive an invitation to SEGA of Japan’s headquarters in March 2027 to duke it out for the No. 1 spot at the Puyo Puyo Grand Prix Final.
Players who earn an invitation will receive financial assistance for travel expenses and other costs incurred when traveling to Japan.
