July 4, 2023 – SEGA is pleased to announce that Persona 3 Reload, a remake of ATLUS’s hit title Persona 3 for modern platforms, is slated to release in early 2024 on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, and Steam. Akihiko Sanada (voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa)
Akihiko is a third-year student at Gekkoukan High School and a founding member of the SEES. A popular figure at school, he is the captain of the boxing team and excels at both sports and academics. Normally calm and collected, Akihiko can also be a bit stubborn and inflexible at times.
Injured while fighting against a Shadow, he returns to the front lines after nursing his wounds.
An experienced boxer, Akihiko prefers close-quarter combat, lobbing haymakers at his enemies. His Persona, Polydeuces, specializes in physical damage and electric skills.
Mitsuru Kirijo (voiced by Rie Tanaka)
Mitsuru is the heiress to the Kirijo Group, one of the largest conglomerates in the world. She is a thirdyear student and student council president at Gekkoukan High School. As the leader of the SEES, she directs the protagonist and the other members.
A serious and hard-working girl who has a fondness for discipline, Mitsuru excels in many fields. However, she can be somewhat out of touch due to her sheltered upbringing, and her eccentric behavior can come as a shock to others.
As one might expect from the captain of the fencing team, her preferred weapon of choice is a onehanded sword. Her Persona, Penthesilea, specializes in ice and recovery skills.
Fuuka Yamagishi (voiced by Mamiko Noto)
Like the protagonist, Fuuka is a second-year student at Gekkoukan High School. A calm and humble girl, she is sometimes subject to bullying due to her timid nature. Fuuka ends up becoming trapped in the Dark Hour, and her Persona abilities awaken when the SEES come to rescue her. She decides to join them afterwards.
While she doesn’t fight directly in battles, Fuuka’s expertise in collecting and analyzing intel allows her to support the team as a navigator.
Her Persona is Lucia.
