HoYoverse dropped a new video on the Genshin Impact Youtube today, April 24, 2026, which shows a behind the scenes look at the region Snezhnaya and other future highlights.

Below are the Program highlights of the 20-minute video:
+ Snezhnaya: “The Nation of Cryo” will finally be part of the Genshin Impact map on August 12, 2026.
The Snezhnaya update will finally reveal the Tsaritsa’s agenda that we only seen a glimpse of. Also, look out for what will happen to the six Gnoses.
+ Trains will be a highlight of the new region as a means of transport. Further, inspiration of the region’s music borrows elements of Slavik music and classical symphonic traditions
The new region will of course feature a new means on how the Cryo element plays into the mechanics of the in-game system of Genshin Impact.
Finally, the August update will get an across-the-board visual upgrade.
