Danganronpa the Animation is an adaptation of a famous mystery-suspense video game developed by Spike Chunsoft. It takes place in a super elite high school, wherein admission is only given to those who are extremely talented and well-gifted students. A selected few individuals get a golden ticket as a student to this school, and the main character gets to be one of them. However, the school is under the control of a bizarre yet sadistic bear (Monokuma) and imprisons all its students in the campus. The only way for them to graduate and eventually escape from the school is by committing murder to another student without getting caught by the others. A trial is held for every anonymous murder committed, and if the other students can determine who the murderer is, he’ll be punished by death. Otherwise, all other students will die. You can learn more about the anime and game series through Wikia or their official website.

Danganronpa has received mixed reactions from viewers and fans alike. First-time viewers see it as a very exciting psychological series, and usually end up buying and playing the game. As for the fans, it was both a nostalgic yet disappointing trip to the past (this is fairly subjective, but that’s what most of them say). Because of this, a huge number of Danganronpa-themed illustrations are created and shared to everyone all over the web. We have collected some of the latest images uploaded by their respective artists and have uploaded them for you to appreciate as much as we did.

All of these images were collected from Pixiv (a Japanese creativity site for both artists and writers). To get to the actual source of each image, you can add the file name without the extension to the end of the link: “http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=“. So if for example, the file name is “123456789,” then the source URL would be “http://www.pixiv.net/member_illust.php?mode=medium&illust_id=123456789.”

In addition, the files in this zip file are not to be distributed for monetary profit. None of the illustrations were originally from Sakura Index, and are owned by their respective artists. Give credit and your support to these artists by not claiming any of these images as yours and using any of them for business purposes.
