It’s time yet again to mark your calendars for the next batch of anime movies, OVA and specials! Some of these are bundled with the BD or manga release, while others are scheduled to be seen in movie theaters soon! Which ones are you looking forward to? October 2 – Naruto the Movie – Illusion in the Ruins of the Depths of the Earth
October 9 – Yozakura Quartet: Tsuki ni Naku OVA
Tatsukaku Productions release yet another special for Yozakura Quartet, this time animating the story from the manga’s 11th volume. This will bundled along with Volume 14.
October 16 – Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home
P.A. Works gives more love to Hanasaku Iroha fans as they release the DVD/BD copy of “Home Sweet Home.” Shown in the silver screen last March, Ohana finds the daughter of Fukuya Inn’s manager, Yuina, becoming a manager-in-training in their own inn. Later on, Ohana finds a notebook that could be telling her mom’s unknown past in Kissuiso before leaving for Tokyo.

October 16 – Kill Me Baby OAD
Bundled with album CD “Kill Me Baby Super.” The OAD will feature eight unanimated scenes from the original manga.
October 17 – Seitoukai Yakuindomo OVA
Bundled with 9th volume limited edition manga
October 23 – Saint☆Young Men Movie
The manga-turned-movie shown last May will be releasing its DVD/BD copy. The movie shows the daily life of two friends, Jesus and Buddha (yes, those two) in modern Japan.

October 25 – Eve no Jikan Movie
BD release. It includes all OVAs as well as extra scenes which tell the backstory of some characters.
October 25 – Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Ilya OAD
Bundled with the second BD volume of the TV series.
October 25 – Suisei no Gargantia OVA
The second OVA of Suisei no Gargantia to be released along with the third DVD/BD volume.
October 25 – Miyakawa-ke no Kuufuku OAD
Bundled on a DVD along with Lucky Star’s tenth manga volume. The story is based from Lucky Star’s Moe Drill game series and features the Miyakawa sisters Hinata and Hikage and their daily life.
October 26 – Dokidoki! Precure Mana Kekkon?! Mirai ni Tsunagu Kibou no Dress Movie
Mana was given a wedding dress worn by her mother and grandmother. After this incident, a mysterious man takes her away to the past where she met her grandmother once more. As this happens, the future’s fate is slowly changing, along with her precious memories of her best friends. The Precure girls have to fight once again for the sake of the future, and Mana’s as well.

October 26 – Eigoban Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Shinpen: Hangyaku no Monogatari
The final movie of Madoka Magica movie trilogy. A lot of changes in the plot were made, as well as a new character unseen from the TV series, Momoe Nagisa.

October 30 – IS: Infinite Stratos 2 – Hitonatsu no Omoide OVA
A 40-minute episode depicting a long summer vacation for Ichika and his IS team.
That somehow wraps up this month’s lineup! I’m personally looking forward to the BD specials, especially Fate/kaleid, Suisei no Gargantia and Infinite Stratos 2. Also, I’m excited for the third Madoka movie, but knowing this will be screened only in Japan and the US for now, I’m gonna join the waiting game and hope this will be released in DVD/BD in the future.
