Get ready to sate your SAO thirst with Sword Art Online Vol 12: Alicization Rising. This volume continues on from where Kirito and Eugeo were able to escape from the Clutches of an Integrity Knight into the Central Library, were they have became the guests of the game’s Cardinal. A convoluted story is passed on to Kirito from Cardinal (to which Eugeo isn’t privy to) of how the world and society in the game came to be. The novel ends in yet another cliffhanger, but at least we got to where the story was supposed to be for a long time now…

Download and read from the project page in Baka-Tsuki, or download the EPUB version from the Ebook Generator.

P.S: The end of it still leaves me hanging. Might as well pick up other titles while waiting…

P.S.S: Yen Press states that it has licensed the series for its English translation, and the project on BT will be deemed abandoned upon release of the first volume. View the announcement on the project page.

They should really catch up to the Baka-Tsuki project. The team at B-T has been pretty efficient in the past few months, releasing the TL version within a week or two from the release date in Japan.

If they do lift the translation from the project site I do hope they attribute some of the work to them for their hard work and dedication 😀

Sadly they won’t do that, they’ll translate it themselves, as they don’t trust “unofficial translators” as apparently they “don’t” do a good job … so we’re gonna have to wait until 2015 until they catch up
