Wolf’s New Appearance in The New VIRTUA FIGHTER Project Unveiled!
May 12, 2025 – SEGA is thrilled to announce that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is coming to PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Crossplay Compatibility
Crossplay is planned to be available when Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O arrives on consoles. All versions of the game are also planned to be equipped with rollback netcode, giving all players a seamless online experience on whichever platform they choose. On top of that, new DLC for the game is in the works—stay tuned for more information!
Virtua Fighter Open Championship Roadmap
The roadmap for the Virtua Fighter Open Championship, the first-ever official global tournament for the series, is now available. Keep up with upcoming events, including the Asia Qualifier in Japan, which will take place in Tokyo, and EVO Las Vegas.
An online preliminary will also be held for players from select regions. If you’d like to participate, be sure to check out the official rules before applying!
