March 15, 2024 – SEGA (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo; President & COO: Yukio Sugino) is pleased to announce that Cygames (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Koichi Watanabe) has released Granblue Fantasy: Relink‘s free version. 1.1.1 update on March 14.


This major update adds a new challenging boss battle against Lucilius, an Astral of immense power, and various improvements.

*Cygames will be listed as the publisher of the Steam version.

Version 1.1.1 features the addition of a new Proud difficulty quest, The Final Vision, where players will join Supreme Primarch Sandalphon in a battle against the ultimate foe, Lucilius

Additional major updates are scheduled to arrive in April and May, with Seofon and Tweyen joining the roster of playable characters in Version 1.2.0, and Sandalphon in Version 1.3.0.

Assist modes provide accessibility for gamers of all skill levels. Full Assist mode essentially handles all aspects of combat when enabled.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink offers a complete single-player experience as well as cooperative online multiplayer action. Unite with others to tackle more than 100 quests that feature various goals and enemies!




Granblue Fantasy takes place in the Sky Realm, where myriad islands float in a great blue expanse. The protagonist, joined by a scrappy little dragon named Vyrn and a young girl with mysterious powers named Lyria, sails for Estalucia, a fabled island beyond the end of the skies. Along the way, they meet a colorful cast of characters, adding kings and misfits alike to their ragtag crew.

The events of Relink take place in Zegagrande Skydom. In this corner of the skies, islands are guarded by powerful creatures known as primal beasts and winds carry tales of a secretive organization known as the Church of Avia. Through their adventures, the protagonists unveil a web of intrigue reaching far beyond the borders of Zegagrande and engage in a battle for the fate of the Sky Realm itself.
