February 16, 2024 – SEGA (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo; President & COO: Yukio Sugino) is thrilled to announce that Granblue Fantasy: Relink, the latest action RPG developed by Cygames (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo; President: Koichi Watanabe), has sold more than 1,000,000 copies* worldwide. It has achieved this figure 11 days after its release on February 1, 2024 for PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, and Steam.
SEGA has been overseeing the distribution of the PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5 versions of the game within Asia (excluding Japan)**. New quests and more playable characters will be added to the game in the future, so please look forward to it!
*Sales data includes all physical and digital editions.
**Cygames will be listed as the publisher of the Steam version.

The Ultimate Showdown with Lucilius will be arrive in early March. New playable characters, Seofon and Tweyen, will also be added in April. Another update will drop in May!

Story

Along the way, they meet a colorful cast of characters, adding kings and misfits alike to their ragtag crew
The events of Relink take place in Zegagrande Skydom. In this corner of the world, islands are guarded by powerful creatures known as primal beasts and winds carry tales of a secretive organization known as the Church of Avia.
Through their adventures, the protagonists unveil a web of intrigue reaching far beyond the borders of Zegagrande and engage in a battle for the fate of the Sky Realm itself.
