September 9, 2026 – SEGA is thrilled to announce that a free update featuring Amigo from the Samba de Amigo series is now available for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds! We’re also revving up for the limited-time Samba de Amigo Festival CrossOver event, starting on September 11. During the event, players can collect Festival Points to obtain exclusive in-game items.

Amigo Joins the Race in a Free Update!
Hit the track as Amigo, rock out with his classic Skin, and race to the rhythm in his signature Machine—the Locomotive de Amigo! Three new songs from the Samba de Amigo series have also been added to the Jukebox! Visit the Jukebox to set them as background music for your races!

Samba de Amigo Festival Coming Soon
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be hosting a special Samba de Amigo CrossOver event from September 11!
Join one of three teams and compete to score the most points. Each race offers a different challenge—perform the most Touch Boosts or complete other special objectives! Earn Festival Points during the event to unlock exclusive in-game items, including a new decal, horn, and more!
Schedule: September 11, 8:00 AM–September 14, 2026, 7:59 AM (UTC+8)
