Commemorative Artwork by Shigenori Soejima Unveiled
October 23, 2025 – SEGA is pleased to announce that ATLUS’s hit RPG Persona 3 Reload has launched on Nintendo Switch 2 today. To celebrate, Shigenori Soejima, the character designer of the original Persona 3, has revealed new artwork.
Additionally, the digital editions on Xbox, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, and Steam have been updated with a new, lower price across all platforms.
An update featuring eight Persona 3 and Persona 3 FES songs performed by Yumi Kawamura, the vocalist from the original, is also available on Xbox, PS4, PS5, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. Listen to these classic tracks as you explore and battle your way through Tartarus!

About the Game
Persona 3 Reload is a fully-fledged remake of the 2006 RPG that defined the style and popularity of the Persona series, making it a must-play for both series newcomers and longtime fans.
Building on the popular features from Persona 5, this remake reimagines the visuals, UI, battles, and daily life mechanics of the original to deliver a fresh, cutting-edge experience for modern players. Since its 2024 release on other platforms, Persona 3 Reload has sold over 2 million copies worldwide and continues to garner high praise globally.
Gameplay
During the day, you’ll attend classes, take part in clubs, and spend time with friends as a normal high schooler. Your choices and bonds will awaken Personas, granting you the strength to defy fate. Come midnight, the Dark Hour begins. Join the group SEES and battle through hordes of Shadows as you scale the mysterious tower Tartarus in search of the truth.
New Combat Features
The Persona series’ signature turn-based combat has been taken to the next level! Building on popular features from Persona 5, use direct commands to control teammates with the touch of a button and assists to quickly strike at known enemy weaknesses.
In addition, Baton Pass from Persona 5 returns as the Shift system, letting you chain actions with teammates to efficiently take down enemies.
Theurgy skills have also been added, allowing you to unleash powerful, one-of-a-kind abilities once the Theurgy Gauge is full!
New Songs Added
The music for Persona 3 Reload was composed by Atsushi Kitajoh of the ATLUS Sound Team. All the old tracks have been rerecorded, some beloved songs have been remixed, and many new songs have been added—including the opening, battle themes, and more! Among the battle themes is “It’s Going Down Now,” performed by Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice, which has become a global hit, surpassing 100 million streams on Spotify.
Tokyo Game Show 2025 featured a Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5: The Phantom X concert, captivating the audience with the distinctive sounds of the Persona series. An archive video of Azumi Takahashi and Lotus Juice’s live performance on day two is now available, with another video of both artists sharing their thoughts on TGS 2025 and the success of “It’s Going Down Now”.
