Commemorative Persona 3 Reload Video Celebrating the Milestone
March 7, 2024 – SEGA has revealed that ATLUS’s Persona series has sold over 22 million units worldwide (physical copies and digital sales combined). As of March 5, 2024, 22.6 million copies have been sold.
The first title in the Persona series Revelations: Persona, later named Shin Megami Tensei: Persona, was released in 1996. It wasn’t until Persona 5, which received critical acclaim globally, that ATLUS’s signature brand of JRPGs was catapulted into the limelight. Persona 3 Reload, which launched on February 2, 2024, sold 1 million units worldwide in its first week.
