A Live-action Series tied to Yakuza Kiwami 3 is Coming Soon!
September 26, 2025 – SEGA is thrilled to announce that Like a Dragon is collaborating with Nihontouitsu on a new live-action series.
Produced by the makers of Nihontouitsu, this new project ties into Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties.
Nihontouitsu actor and producer Yasukazu Motomiya will play Kazuma Kiryu, while his co-star Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi will take on the role of Goro Majima. The main cast also includes Kazuhiro Nakaya as Akira Nishikiyama and Matsuda Kenji as Makoto Date.
Depicting the lives of men in Japan’s criminal underworld across a game and a live-action series, these productions unite in a genre-defying collaboration that’s certain to entertain Like a Dragon fans and newcomers alike.
