“Tokei” is the sixth track in the Fate/Grand Order series, following “Shikisai”, “Gyakko”, “Kuuhaku”, “Yakudo” and “Dokuhaku”. Maaya Sakamoto wrote the lyrics herself and composed the theme song for the conclusion of the series she has been a part of for ten years.

The theme song is an emotional track depicting “hope for the future”, setting it apart from previous theme songs from the FGO series. Ryo Eguchi arranged the song, a member of la la larks who helped compose and arrange “Shikisai” and the arrangement for “Gyakko”.

The result is a richly-layered track that is fitting for the final chapter of the FGO series, created by a team who know the series by heart.

The music video for “Tokei” premiered December 29.
