Since its launch as a project in 2010, the Love Live! franchise has expanded into multiple series, including Love Live!, Love Live! Sunshine!!, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, Love Live! Superstar!!, Love Live! Hasunosora Girls’ High School Idol Club, School Idol Musical, and, most recently in 2025, Ikizulive! Love Live! Bluebird. In June 2025, the franchise celebrated its 15th anniversary.
To mark the occasion, the series is releasing its first-ever Love Live! series tribute album, featuring renowned artists and characters performing songs from across the franchise. The CD is scheduled for release on January 14, 2026.
A star-studded lineup has already been revealed, including the Aikatsu! series, THE IDOLM@STER 765PRO ALLSTARS, Ado, You and Idol PreCure, Hatsune Miku, and BanG Dream!. The announcement sparked excitement not only among Love Live! fans but also among fans of the participating artists and characters.
And now, it has been confirmed that Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, another expanding cross-media franchise, will also be taking part! In addition, four of the featured songs have been revealed. More artists and characters will be announced in the coming months, so stay tuned for further updates.
