September 10, 2026 – SEGA is thrilled to showcase Kalanoro, an upcoming action-adventure title developed by Madagascar’s Red Raketa Studio and co-published by New Tales, at the SEGA/ATLUS booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (TGS 2026). The event will take place at Makuhari Messe from September 17 to 21.
More details on Kalanoro’s combat and colorful characters have also been unveiled.

Discover the Combat and Colorful Characters of Kalanoro
Combat
Kalakely, our Kalanoro hero, uses their hair to fight from a distance, and brawls up close with improvised weapons. Using their hair-based powers, you can latch onto enemies and close the distance.
Pick up frying pans, carrots, and other odd objects on the ground to deal powerful melee attacks—or throw them! Use your range and surroundings well to overcome each scrap.
Characters
Throughout your journey, you’ll meet a variety of quirky folks—including Kalakely’s guide Mille-Clément—and assemble a band of lemur artists. Your tour bus serves as a home base to chat and bond. To keep them happy and build rapport, cook their favorite foods!
