September 17, 2025 – SEGA is excited to reveal that a free update on September 18 will bring Muzan Kibutsuji to VS Mode in Aniplex’s Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, which is currently available on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam®.
Written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotoge, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a manga series that was published in SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS and has sold over 220 million copies. After Tanjiro Kamado’s family is massacred by a demon, he enlists in the Demon Slayer Corps to find a way to turn Nezuko back into a human again. The series has captivated audiences not only in Japan but also across the globe with its gritty take on demons and humans, spectacular fight scenes, charming characters, and witty humor. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is now in theaters.

The first paid downloadable content, Infinity Castle Character Pass, which will allow players to use characters appearing in the currently showing Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle in VS Mode, will be released in fall 2025. In the first release, Kaigaku will be added, and in the second release, Zenitsu Agatsuma (Infinity Castle) will be added.
