July 8, 2025 – SEGA is pleased to announce that Farming Simulator 25—which has sold over 3 million copies across PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and PC (Windows/Mac)—will receive its first major expansion, Highlands Fishing, on November 4, 2025. Pre-orders are now available, along with the game’s new Highlands Fishing Edition, a bundle that includes both the base game and the upcoming expansion.
Highlands Fishing introduces Kinlaig, a new map that draws its rugged charm from the windswept landscapes of Scotland. Enjoy a unique new farming experience with picturesque greenery and long stretches of shore to appreciate, and for the first time in the series’ history, immerse yourself in aquaculture!
With the new aquaculture feature, players can breed, raise, and harvest fish such as salmon and trout. The expansion also adds onions, Highland cattle, and traditional architecture—including historic stone castles!
To help you farm on the plains and waters of Kinlaig, more than 20 new land- and water-based machines from Monosem, Can-Am, Agri-Spread, and GT Bunning are coming to the game.
Pick up the Highlands Fishing Edition to receive the base game, titular expansion, and the MacDon Pack DLC, which adds extra machines and attachments. Highlands Fishing is also available as part of the Year 1 Season Pass, which comes with 3 other content packs.
