REV Major 2022 happened on September 17 to 18 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

This was the event’s first on-site foray since REV Major 2019 and they did try to #DoItAgain in the only way they can…FIGHTING GAMES!
This year’s edition had over 12 tournament games from popular fighting game titles such as Tekken 7, Street Fighter V, Dragon Ball Fighter Z, Melty Blood, among others.
Booths
Our friends at ASUS was there with their own booth.
What piqued my interest was Rumble Royale’s booth. They had a couple of unique set ups on how to play a fighting game. One was with the use of musical keyboards and well…the drums as seen below.
Rumble Royale also had this DoRRyaItYourself booth where you can….Dorrya yourself? Yes. I’m not joking.

Merch Booths
REV Major had its merch booths for the fans who want to get some shirts, stickers, keychains and the like. Here are some of the snaps we got from the booths that were there for the weekend.
Food & Drinks
A couple of stand outs were there at the food & drink stalls. We had Kopimaru and Healthy Lemon as drink stands that would give you a nice pick me up during REV Major 2022 weekend.
Da Beast!
Apart from the tournament and special guests, Daigo “The Beast” Umehara was there on Day 2 for a special book signing session for his book entitled The Will to Keep Winning. Of course it wasn’t just his book that he was there to sign for his fans.
He signed other items such as fight pads and CDs.
Conclusion
I was thrilled to see this event back on-site and meet some familiar faces and friends from the FGC community. Congratulations to the competitors and organizers of REV Major for pulling off a very successful event this year. For 2023, we will totally #DoItAgain!
