About the Etrian Odyssey Series
Etrian Odyssey is a 3D dungeon-crawling RPG series where players select five adventurers from a variety of classes and combine their skills to search for an immense treasure sleeping within a vast labyrinth, all while creating a unique and personalized map.
The labyrinths are complex and inhabited by fierce monsters. Reach their inner depths by tracking your path on a fresh map, taking notes of any hidden shortcuts, plants, minerals, and treasure chests you encounter on the way.
Etrian Odyssey Origin Collections features three adventures with newly added quality-of-life elements such as difficulty selection, auto-mapping function, and more. Additionally, the labyrinths have been born anew with vibrant, high-definition graphics.
An adventure guide for Etrian Odyssey III HD – Set Sail Upon The Open Seas!
In Etrian Odyssey III HD not only can you able to explore the underground labyrinth connected to the bottom of the ocean and you can also hop on a ship and wander the high seas. Plot a sea chart, or trade in your catch of the day for money or items. Switching up the equipment on your ship can enable you to sail further and will affect your fish encounter rate—you can even sink pesky pirate ships by mounting a cannon onto your ship.
Legends tell of a mysterious place gracing the very edge of the sea. You have been tasked to hunt down the location and mark it on your sea chart.
All types of danger lurk in the waters, such as currents that will send your ship astray and whirlpools that will put a dent in your ship’s hull. The distance your ship can travel will be impacted by your provisions and equipment. A safe voyage rests on your ship’s equipment and how you navigate the perils of the ocean.
Play with 4 Others Through Oceanic Quests and Bartering!
Oceanic quests are a multiplayer feature that allows five players to play together via the internet or local network.
Each player picks one of their adventurers to form a joint party to slay one of the boss monsters roaming the ocean. If you manage to defeat the boss, you will be awarded extravagant equipment, limit skill items, and other rewards.
You can also lead your own solo party to take on an oceanic quest.
A bunch of new classes are available in this swashbuckling sea adventure, such as the buccaneer, sovereign, and arbalist. Cross the sea with a motley crew of your favorite explorers!
Bartering lets you trade items with other players. You can also share guild cards that include details about the completion rate of your collections, as well as the number of adventures you’ve gone on. There are also no limits on how many items you can trade or what you can choose to trade.
Locations that will Assist You Throughout Your Adventure!
The city contains plenty of helpful places that will aid you in your journey.
An inn where you can recover your HP and TP, treat ailments like petrification, or revive fallen party members. Items can also be stored away here.
A shop where you can buy and sell weapons, armor, and items. The more materials you sell to the shop, the better equipment they will stock. You can also use the forge to craft new weapons.
An establishment that serves as the political hub of Armoroad. Completing the missions they give you will advance the story. One of their responsibilities includes overseeing the Codex and Compendium, so make sure to report any new monsters or items you encounter.
A bistro where you can accept quests, claim rewards, and collect information from other adventurers which can help move the story.
You can register adventurers, form a party, and reorganize your party members at the guild. The Guildmaster will also give you adventuring tips if you speak to her.
A place where you can depart on a voyage or engage in multiplayer through oceanic quests. You can also report discoveries here too, so make sure to do so if you find any loot or equipment for your ship.
