Japanese GT500 Pack Featuring Iconic Machines Coming Soon
March 26, 2026 – SEGA is excited to announce that a major update for Project Motor Racing, available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows, is now live. The update delivers a range of enhancements designed to elevate the racing experience, including UI, visual, and behavior improvements, plus the addition of real-world sponsors.
The Japanese GT500 Pack, featuring nine Japanese GT machines and one circuit, is also set to arrive on March 31.
Major Update Out Now
The latest update delivers major improvements to the gameplay experience.
This update introduces a complete overhaul of the game’s user interface, making navigation, menus, setup options, system settings, and race information clearer and easier to use. Tire models, handling, and overall vehicle physics have been refined across all classes.
Improvements to friction behavior, expanded force feedback, and more realistic collisions deliver the most immersive and realistic driving experience yet.
Online features have been enhanced with the introduction of an anti-cheat system and a smoother race entry process, while ranking events from 1st April allow all classes to participate. Improvements have also been made to visual quality and performance. Career Mode will now have real-world sponsors and podium ceremonies, making it a more authentic motorsport management experience.

Japanese GT500 Pack Featuring Iconic Machines Now Available
The Japanese GT500 Pack is set to arrive on March 31. The pack brings the excitement of the GT500 class, widely regarded as the pinnacle of GT racing, to Project Motor Racing. Alongside five modern GT500 machines known for their immense downforce, precise handling, and blistering speed, it also features four legendary cars from the All Japan GT Championship era famous for their turbo engines and distinctive aerodynamic designs. The technically challenging Takimiya Circuit is also included.
From chasing the perfect lap time to competing in intense multi-class races, experience the speed, heritage, and excitement of Japanese GT racing like never before.
