Infinity Castle Character Pass on The Way!
August 7, 2025 – SEGA is excited to reveal that Muzan Kibutsuji is coming to VS Mode via a free update for Aniplex’s Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2, which released on August 1 on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam®.
Characters from the series’ latest film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaba Infinity Castle has also been announced to be joining the VS Mode roster through the upcoming paid DLC, Infinity Castle Character Pass.
Additionally, SEGA has revealed that the PlayStation®5 version of the game will be featured as a PlayStation® Tournaments title.
Muzan Kibutsuji is Joining the VS Mode Roster
Muzan Kibutsuji will be added to VS Mode in an upcoming free update. His design will be based on his initial appearance in Asakusa.

Infinity Castle Character Pass Coming Soon
A paid DLC, Infinity Castle Character Pass has been announced. Characters from the latest film, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaba Infinity Castle, will be joining the VS Mode roster through this DLC.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Now a Part of PlayStation® Tournaments on PlayStation®5
The PlayStation®5 version of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 is now a part of PlayStation® Tournaments games.
With this new feature, players will be able to easily sign up for online competitions directly from within the game, providing an accessible way for anyone to test their skills against others from around the world.
