So today WordPress has updated with 3.2, and I’d say the redesign of the admin control panel looks really good and responsive. You could check out WordPress Update post at their blog.
The network update has worked too. All blogs under the main site are now running the same wordpress version.
It seems that they’ve begun using HTML5 with the site. I wonder how this affects the site’s loading speed.
