Home stretch for our ClariS Week Special!
Because of the girls’ nice voices and the wonderful tunes on their songs, a whole slew of remixes, covers and other videos have been popping up, most notably in the video sharing sites Youtube and Nico Nico Douga.
We have featured their two early covers on our first article, now here are some more Alice☆Clara early renditions of songs.
After STEP TO YOU, they did a cover of Supercell’s Black☆Rock Shooter:
Another Supercell song from Bakemonogatari, “Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari”:
They also did a Macross Frontier song, “Lion” (originally sung by May’n and Megumi Nakajima):
Here is their version of Perfume’s “Polyrhythm”:
The girls doing some K-ON!! covers, “Listen!!” and “Don’t Say Lazy”:
Their first composer being Kz, one of their first singles that he composed, “Drop”, perfectly matches another of his early compositions, “Panorama Future”. Hence, “Panorama Drop” was born:
Another pair of Kz compositions, here is “irony” meshed in with “Packaged”, which still sounds like they were meant to be mixed:
A unique cover of “Luminous” that uses traditional Japanese instruments:
Here is an interesting remix of “nexus”. This version was made by none other than the original illustrator for the Oreimo light novels, Kanzaki Hiro (who is known by his music as Hanasoumen-P or HSP) And yes, that art you see is his work, too!.
Two songs you would never think that match: Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” and “nexus”:
A Nico Nico user who did wonderful violin covers of Connect and nexus:
When their first album “Birthday” was launched, the launch party was held at the Nikofare with Kz himself present. here is the mix he played for that launch event:
And finally, yet another cover of “nexus”, but this time with accompanying dance moves:
It is nice to know that people are getting inspiration from the girls’ songs and making other wonderful creations from them!
We’re almost done with ClariS Week, but we won’t let it end without a little bit more surprises. So stay tuned! 😀
